The Details
The Project
This property underwent a full multi-family renovation to modernize the building, improve safety compliance, and increase usable living space across all four units. The goal was to transform an outdated structure into efficient, code-compliant housing suitable for today’s tenants while improving long-term durability and property value.
The scope included complete interior reconstruction, new exterior systems, and full mechanical upgrades throughout the building.
The Challenge
The building featured an outdated layout, aging infrastructure, and did not meet
current egress and safety standards. Several units lacked functional space, limiting
them to one-bedroom layouts.
The project required reworking the structure to meet modern code requirements while maximizing square footage and minimizing disruption to the building footprint.
The Solution
-
Reconfigured unit layouts to convert two units from 1-bedroom to 2-bedroom
-
Installed all new roofing, siding, and exterior decking
-
Built four new kitchens and four new bathrooms
-
Upgraded electrical service and installed new fire alarm system
-
Updated layouts to meet modern egress standards
-
Completed full interior modernization across entire property
